Why Flying Octopus?
The name Flying Octopus Media comes from two lifelong fascinations — flight and the ocean’s most mysterious creature.
Since I was a kid, I’ve been captivated by flight — watching birds soar, especially crows, which I’ve always admired for their intelligence and adaptability. There’s something about the freedom of flying that speaks to creativity — the ability to see things from above, from a new perspective.
The octopus, on the other hand, represents something completely different but equally powerful: intelligence, adaptability, and mystery. I’ve had a few personal encounters with them while scuba diving — even once in Hawaii when one wrapped itself around my arm. It was a surreal, humbling experience.
Flying Octopus brings those two worlds together — sky and sea, imagination and depth. It’s a symbol of creativity that’s both grounded and limitless — a reminder to stay curious, to explore every angle, and to craft work that feels alive.
