Hey there — I’m Travis Lawton, a photographer and videographer with a love for storytelling, technology, and the people behind every project.
My journey started years ago in a computer store, back when digital cameras were just beginning to hit the shelves. What started as a curiosity for tech quickly turned into a creative passion for capturing moments. Since then, I’ve worked in everything from sales to software development before finding my true calling behind the camera.
Today, I blend that technical background with a creative eye to produce visuals that not only look great but serve a purpose — helping people and businesses tell their stories with impact.
When I’m not behind the lens, you’ll probably find me cheering on my daughter at gymnastics, watching Seattle sports, or planning our next family adventure (ideally somewhere with clear water and good scuba diving).
The Journey Behind The Lens
It started simply enough—a hobby, a camera, and a curiosity for how light could tell a story. Back then, I swore I’d never shoot a wedding. Too much chaos, too much pressure, too much everything.
But stories have a funny way of pulling you in. A few friends asked for help, one wedding led to another, and before long I found myself fully immersed—capturing laughter, tears, and the moments people never want to forget. What began as a hobby became a career, and soon after, video joined the mix.
Years passed, and while I loved the emotion and artistry of weddings, I began craving something different—a new kind of story to tell. I wanted to bring that same cinematic emotion into the business world, where storytelling too often feels cold and mechanical.
Today, I help businesses create the media they need to stand out: branding videos, product photography, headshots, real estate visuals, theatre coverage, podcasts, and more. I bring the same creative storytelling energy that fueled my wedding work into the business world—where it’s often needed most.
